Trent Says

For the past three weeks, the work-guys and I have been retro-gaming with mixed results.

• Red Alert 2 - Haven't come close to winning any round. I simply suck at this.
• Quake -Black Howling is my only friend in this... whom I beat pretty sadly.
• Quake 3 - The other guys played this one. I beat them, too.
• Starcraft - We played thirteen rounds. Cyhac and I on C.E.R.T. versus whatever odds the other guys dished out. First three rounds: 2vs3 - C.E.R.T. wins 3-0. Other ten rounds: 2vs4 - C.E.R.T. wins 8-2. They're good enough for us to even out the teams now.

It was a cloud like no other,

It was a wing of an angel that spanned the heavens as the eye could see,

It was a touch on the forehead by a person you've never met but made you feel that for once,
everything was right in the world.

I saw this cloud on the evening of the 16th of July, 2008 and was thus inspired.

Should anyone ask a question with no definitive answer, "I can't say..." is a really great response.
A touch of negativity always brightens the mood. Pick the right time to use it, though.

And it really struck me as I read this fashion magazine, recalling this song that said, "Never read beauty magazines, they only make you feel ugly."
I would say, "Never read beauty magazines, they only make you feel your girlfriend's ugly."

Please tell me that I'm not the only one amongst my friends who wants to play these games.

Fallout 3
Who doesn't remember Fallout? Being a puny human in an irradiated wasteland has its appeal, especially when you're decked out in Power Armour and a reasonably sized gun. Please note that overkill is considered reasonable in my books and anything less is underpowered.

Diablo 3
Oh my fucking (I don't believe in God)! It's finally been announced! I got so excited over the announcement that I've already arranged a four-man team to purchase and play this game. Do let me know if you're interested to have me in another roster. Expect the game in about a year though.
My roster includes:
- Black Howling - Colleague as a supporter.
- Crozz - Old friend as a sorcerer.
- Fall - Good friend as a tanker.
- Razor - Yours truly as a ranged fighter.

Gears of War 2 - CAD had to do this...
When they announced this, I called Crozz and planned out a weekend to play this all the way through the hardest difficulty. Gentlemen, start your chainsaws! Ready! Set! YEEAAARRGGHH! Sam will be playing this as well. It's been such a long time since we had a game to play for more than three days.

The rest of the games don't really merit much of a reaction from me but I'll have to say that I have already decided to buy them and have a thousand Ringgit budget planned for this when I quit work.
